2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the On/Off Switch Mist Control button once to turn the humidifier on. The indicator light will illuminate. Press it again to turn the humidifier off.
2. Adjust Mist Level: After turning on, press the On/Off Switch Mist Control button repeatedly to cycle through the mist output levels (Low, Medium, High). The indicator light may change color or intensity to reflect the setting.
3. Sleep Mode: To activate Sleep Mode, press and hold the On/Off Switch Mist Control button for a few seconds. The indicator light will turn off, and any beeps will be silenced for undisturbed sleep.

4. Automatic Shut-Off: The humidifier is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature. When the water level in the tank is too low, the humidifier will automatically turn off, and the indicator light may change color (e.g., red) to indicate an empty tank. 6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and to prevent mineral buildup and bacterial growth. Unplug the unit before any cleaning.

• Empty the water tank and base reservoir daily.

Weekly Cleaning (Descaling):

• Unplug and Disassemble: Ensure the humidifier is unplugged. Remove the water tank and mist outer.
• Clean Water Tank: Fill the water tank with 1 cup (240ml) of undiluted white vinegar. Shake gently and let it sit for 30 minutes. Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the tank. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
• Clean Base Reservoir and Transducer: Pour 1/2 cup (120ml) of undiluted white vinegar into the base reservoir, ensuring it covers the ultrasonic transducer (the small metal disc). Let it soak for 30 minutes. Use the provided cleaning brush or a soft cloth to gently clean the transducer and the inside of the base. Do not scrub aggressively.
• Rinse Thoroughly: Pour out the vinegar from the base and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Ensure no vinegar residue remains.
• Dry: Wipe all parts dry with a clean cloth before reassembling.

Note: Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or detergents. Do not immerse the base in water. If using tap water, white dust (mineral residue) may appear on furniture. Using distilled water will significantly reduce this issue.
