The Anker PowerPort+ 1 automatically detects and delivers the optimal charging current for your connected device, utilizing either Quick Charge 3.0 or Anker's PowerIQ technology.

Quick Charge 3.0

For devices compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, the charger can charge a phone up to 80% in approximately 35 minutes, which is up to 4 times faster than standard chargers. It is also backwards-compatible with Quick Charge 1.0 and 2.0 devices.

4. Maintenance

  • Keep the charger dry. Moisture can corrode electronic circuits.
  • Do not use or store the charger in dusty, dirty areas.
  • Do not store the charger in hot temperatures. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastics.
  • Do not store the charger in cold temperatures. When the charger returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the charger and damage electronic circuit boards.
  • Do not drop, knock, or shake the charger. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics.
  • Clean the charger with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or detergents.

5. Troubleshooting

Device Not Charging or Charging Slowly:

  • Check Cable: Ensure you are using a functional and compatible USB charging cable. A damaged or non-certified cable can hinder charging performance.
  • Verify Compatibility: Confirm that your device is compatible with the charger's output specifications. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for specific compatibility notes regarding certain devices (e.g., iPhone 8+, Nexus 5X/6P, Samsung wireless chargers).
  • Power Source: Ensure the wall outlet is functioning correctly. Try plugging another device into the same outlet to test.
  • Charger Condition: Inspect the charger for any visible damage. If damaged, discontinue use.

Overheating:

  • While Anker chargers include temperature control, slight warmth during operation is normal. If the charger becomes excessively hot, disconnect it immediately.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the charger and avoid covering it while in use.
