5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off

5.2 Dimmable Lighting Control
To adjust the brightness of the LED lights, press and hold your finger on the pedestal base. Slide your finger across the base to effortlessly dim or brighten the illumination to your desired level. The mirror features a memory setting, so when you turn it off, it will recall and return to the last brightness setting used upon the next power-on.

5.3 Magnification and Rotation
The mirror features dual-sided optical quality glass. One side provides 1X magnification for general viewing, hairstyling, and overall cosmetic application. The reverse side offers 5X magnification, ideal for detailed tasks such as makeup application, tweezing, or close-up grooming.
To switch between magnifications, simply rotate the mirror head 360 degrees. The mirror head is designed to rotate smoothly to provide the desired view.

5.4 Optimal Viewing Distance for Magnification
When using the 5X magnified side, it is important to note that objects in the mirror will appear closer than they are. For a clear, undistorted image, maintain an optimal viewing distance of approximately 4-6 inches from the magnified surface. If you are too far away, the image may appear distorted or inverted. This is a normal characteristic of strong magnification and not a product defect. Prolonged use at an incorrect distance may cause temporary disorientation or nausea for some users.
6. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: To clean the mirror surface, use a soft, damp cloth. For the mirror frame and base, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, chemical sprays, or harsh detergents, as these can damage the finish or electronic components.
- Water Exposure: As stated in the safety information, avoid direct water exposure. Do not rinse the mirror under running water.
- Storage: When not in use, store the mirror in a dry, safe place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| LED lights do not turn on. | Mirror not plugged in; power outlet not active; incorrect touch area. | Ensure the AC adapter is securely plugged into both the mirror and a working electrical outlet. Tap the pedestal base firmly. |
| LED lights do not dim. | Incorrect touch action; touch area not recognized. | Press and hold your finger on the pedestal base, then slide it to adjust brightness. Ensure your finger is in full contact with the base. |
| Image appears distorted or upside down on magnified side. | Viewing distance is too far from the magnified mirror. | Move closer to the 5X magnified mirror, maintaining an optimal viewing distance of approximately 4-6 inches for a clear image.
