3.1 Powering the Device

The NEO 2 can be powered in two ways:

3.2 Mounting the Light

To mount the NEO 2 on your camera:

  1. Attach the hot shoe mount to the bottom of the NEO 2.
  2. Slide the hot shoe mount into your camera's hot shoe slot.
  3. Tighten the locking mechanism on the hot shoe mount to secure the light.

3.3 Filter Installation

The NEO 2 comes with a 4-piece filter set. These filters can be easily attached to the front of the light to modify diffusion or color temperature. Align the filter with the front of the light and gently press it into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Locate the power button on the side of the unit. Press and hold to turn the light on or off. The digital display will illuminate upon power-on.

4.2 Brightness Control

Use the control dials or buttons (refer to the digital display for specific controls) to adjust the brightness output from 1% to 100%. The NEO 2 offers precise dimming capabilities for optimal exposure.

4.3 Color Temperature Adjustment

The NEO 2 features bi-color continuous light. Adjust the color temperature to match ambient light or achieve desired creative effects. Consult the on-screen menu for specific Kelvin temperature adjustments.

4.4 Flash Mode (High Speed Sync)

The NEO 2 supports High Speed Sync (HSS) flash. To use this feature, you will typically need an external radio transmitter (e.g., Skyport Wireless System) compatible with your camera. This allows the NEO 2 to act as an off-camera flash, synchronizing with your camera's shutter at high speeds.
