Ignition and Cutting Procedure

- Begin Preheat: Position the preheat flame on the edge of the material to be cut. Allow the material to reach ignition temperature (bright cherry red).
- Initiate Cutting Oxygen: Once the material is at temperature, slowly depress the stainless steel oxygen lever. This will introduce the high-pressure cutting oxygen stream. Move the torch steadily along the desired cut line.
- Complete Cut: Continue moving the torch at a consistent speed, ensuring the cutting oxygen stream penetrates through the material.
- Shut Down: Release the oxygen lever. Close the fuel gas valve on the torch handle, followed by the oxygen valve. Finally, close the cylinder valves and bleed the lines.
