4. Setup Instructions

  1. Connect the Converter: Plug the Brook Super Converter into the controller port of your PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, or PlayStation Classic console. For PC use, connect it to a USB port.
  2. Connect Your Controller:
    • Wired Connection: Connect your compatible controller (e.g., PS3, PS4, Switch Pro, Xbox One) to the USB port on the Brook Super Converter using a USB cable.
    • Wireless Connection (PS4/PS5/WiiU Pro/Switch Pro only): For initial setup, connect your PS4 or PS5 controller to the adapter via USB cable to register it. Once registered, it should connect automatically for wireless use.
  3. Mode Selection: Ensure the switch on the converter is set to the correct mode (PS2 for PlayStation consoles, XID for PC).
  4. Power On: Turn on your console or PC. The converter's LED indicator will show its status.

5.1. Default Button Configuration

The Brook Super Converter is compatible with a wide range of controllers and consoles:

Important Note:

  • Each Brook Super Converter can only handle one controller at a time.
  • PS3/PS4 controllers must be connected with a USB cable for first-time registration.
  • Wireless use is compatible with PS4 / PS5 / WiiU Pro / Switch Pro controllers.
  • Does NOT support headset/headphone functionality.
  • NOT compatible with Qanba Q2.
