Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the exterior of the flashlight, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the plastic housing or the lens.

Battery Care

When the light output begins to dim, replace all four (4) AA batteries with new ones. For optimal performance and to prevent battery leakage, remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period.

Storage

Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed to prevent moisture ingress.

Troubleshooting

  • Light does not turn on:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the proper polarity.
    • Ensure the battery compartment cap is fully and securely tightened. A loose cap can prevent electrical contact.
    • Replace old or depleted batteries with new ones.
  • Light flickers:
    • Tighten the battery compartment cap firmly.
    • Check the battery contacts for corrosion or debris and clean if necessary.
  • Reduced brightness or short runtime:
    • This indicates low battery power. Replace all four (4) AA batteries.
