Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Device

2. Battery Care

The Moto E4 is equipped with a 2800 mAh battery. To maximize battery life, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures. Charge the battery using only the provided charger or a compatible Motorola-approved charger. It is recommended to keep the battery charge between 20% and 80% for optimal longevity.

3. Water Resistance

The Motorola Moto E4 features a water-resistant design. This means it is protected against moderate exposure to water, such as splashes or light rain. It is not designed to be submerged in water or exposed to pressurized water. Always ensure all ports and covers are properly sealed to maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Powering On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the phone to the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power it on again. If the issue persists, try a different charger or contact support.
  • Apps Crashing or Freezing: Close all background applications. Restart the device. If a specific app consistently crashes, try clearing its cache (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage > Clear Cache) or reinstalling it.
  • Poor Battery Life: Reduce screen brightness, disable unused features like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth when not needed, and close background apps. Check battery usage in Settings > Battery to identify power-consuming applications.
  • Network Connectivity Issues: Ensure airplane mode is off. Restart the device. Check with your service provider for any network outages in your area.
  • Fingerprint Sensor Not Responding: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprints if the issue continues.
