Safety Information

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the appliance is plugged into a grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  • Placement: Place the water cooler on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Allow adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation.
  • Water Quality: Use only potable water from sealed 3 or 5 gallon bottles.

Setup

  1. Unboxing and Placement: Carefully remove the water cooler from its packaging. Place the unit upright on a level, sturdy floor surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance from walls to allow for proper ventilation.
  2. Water Bottle Installation: Open the lower cabinet door. Insert a fresh 3 or 5 gallon water bottle into the cabinet. The water is pumped from the bottle through the machine, eliminating the need for heavy lifting.

  4. Connect Pump Tube: Ensure the pump tube is securely inserted into the water bottle. Close the cabinet door.

  6. Initial Power On: Plug the water cooler into a grounded electrical outlet. Allow approximately 15-20 minutes for the internal tanks to fill and for the water to reach optimal cold and hot temperatures. The indicator lights on the top panel will show when the unit is cooling or heating.
  7. Flush System: Before first use, dispense and discard at least two cups of water from both the hot and cold spouts to flush the system.

  • Dispensing Cold Water: Place your cup under the blue (cold) paddle spout. Press your cup against the paddle to dispense crisp, cold water. Release the paddle to stop the flow.
  • Dispensing Hot Water: Place your cup under the red (hot) paddle spout. To dispense hot water, you must first engage the child safety lock by pressing the small button above the red paddle, then press your cup against the paddle. Release both to stop the flow. The hot water is approximately 180°F.

  • Night Light: The built-in night light illuminates the dispensing area, making it easy to use in low-light conditions. This feature can be controlled by a switch on the back of the unit.
  • Replace Bottle Indicator: The unit features a light indicator that illuminates when the water bottle needs to be replaced.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Drip Tray: The removable drip tray at the bottom of the dispensing area collects any drips or spills. Regularly remove and clean the drip tray with mild soap and water.
  • Replacing the Water Bottle: When the 'Replace Bottle' indicator light illuminates, it's time to change the water bottle. Open the lower cabinet door, remove the empty bottle, and replace it with a new one, ensuring the pump tube is properly inserted.
  • Self-Cleaning Function: The water cooler may feature a self-cleaning function (indicated by a 'Self Clean' light on the control panel). Refer to the specific instructions in your user guide for how to activate and utilize this feature to prevent mineral buildup and maintain hygiene.
