Video 1: Wagner Universal Sprayer W 950 FLEXiO - Setup, Operation, and Cleaning Guide.
This video demonstrates the complete process of setting up, operating, and cleaning the W 950 FLEXiO sprayer for various applications.
- Prepare the Spray Lance: Unroll the pull cable and attach the handle to the air tube. Insert the cable into the guide rail at the bottom of the air tube and guide it over the guide hooks to the spray head.
- Tension the Pull Cable: Gently tighten the cable with the tensioning screw. Do not overtighten, as this may cause paint to be released prematurely.
- Connect Paint Hose: Slide the paint hose onto the nozzle without the securing clamp. Click it into the guide rail as far as the handle.
- Reattach Cover: Reattach the cover on the spray head.
- Connect Hoses to Base Unit: Attach the control and air hose to the handle and to the corresponding terminals on the base unit. Ensure all hoses are firmly and correctly seated to prevent them from coming loose during operation.
- Attach Suction Hose: Finally, attach the suction hose to the base unit.
Paint Preparation
Always dilute the paint as required by the paint manufacturer's instructions and stir it thoroughly. The W 950 FLEXiO is designed to handle various paint viscosities, but proper dilution is crucial for optimal spray results.
- Dilute Paint: If necessary, dilute your paint according to the paint manufacturer's recommendations. Stir well.
- Attach Suction Hose to Bucket: Lower the suction hose to the bottom of the paint bucket.
- Fill System: Select the "Fill/Clean" mode on the control panel to fill the system with paint.
- Prime the Lance: Pull the trigger until paint comes out. Then point the lance towards a test surface and switch from "Fill/Clean" mode to "On".

Spraying Techniques
- Consistent Spraying Distance: Maintain a consistent spraying distance from the surface for a perfectly uniform paint application.
- Adjusting Spray Pattern: Use the adjustment ring on the spray head to choose between a wide flat jet and a compact beam, depending on your project needs.
- Adjusting Paint Quantity: Adjust the paint quantity to match the desired spray width using the volume control knob on the base unit. A narrow spray width is used with the white area on the quantity scale, and a wide spray width with the black area.
- Cross Pattern for Absorbent Surfaces: For highly absorbent surfaces or difficult materials, spray in a cross pattern. First, spray from left to right, then again from top to bottom to ensure even coverage.
