Cleaning Filters
Regularly clean the filters to maintain optimal suction power. Rinse filters with cold water only and allow them to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- Foam Filters: Located at the top of the dust cup. Rinse every 3 months.
- HEPA Filter: Located at the bottom of the canister. Rinse once a year.
Brushroll Maintenance
The brushroll is designed to be self-cleaning, minimizing hair wrap. Periodically check the brushroll for any remaining debris or tangled hair and remove as necessary.
Troubleshooting
- Vacuum not picking up debris: Check if the dust cup is full and empty it. Ensure filters are clean and properly installed. Check for blockages in the hose, nozzle, or attachments.
- Brushroll not spinning: Ensure the vacuum is in 'Carpet' mode (setting II). Check for obstructions in the brushroll area and remove them.
- Vacuum tipping over in Lift-Away mode: Ensure the canister is placed on a stable, flat surface when using the hose and attachments.
- Loud noise: Check for any blockages in the air pathways or brushroll that might be causing increased noise.
