  2. Attach the mount base to the drive recorder unit.
  3. Remove the protective film from the adhesive pad on the mount base.
  4. Firmly press the drive recorder with the attached mount onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.
  5. Allow the adhesive to cure for several hours before driving to ensure a secure attachment.

4.3 Power Connection

Connect the cigarette plug cord to the drive recorder and then insert the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The device is compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems.

For parking surveillance mode, an optional constant power cord (GDO-10) is required and must be professionally installed to your vehicle's power supply.

5. Basic Operation

5.1 Automatic Recording

The CSD-600FHR automatically begins recording when the vehicle's engine is turned ON and stops when the engine is turned OFF. This ensures continuous recording during your drives.

5.2 Audio Recording

The device can record audio along with video. This feature can be toggled ON or OFF via the device settings. Refer to the on-screen menu for specific instructions.

5.3 Manual Photo Capture

You can manually capture still images during recording. Consult the device's menu or voice assist function for the specific button combination or command to take a photo.

6. Advanced Features

6.1 G-Sensor (Impact Detection)

The built-in 3G sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid acceleration/deceleration. When an event is detected, the device automatically saves the corresponding footage to a protected file, preventing it from being overwritten. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be customized for front/rear, left/right, and up/down axes through the device settings.

6.2 Parking Surveillance Mode

When the engine is OFF, the parking surveillance mode can record for up to 12 hours. This feature requires the optional GDO-10 constant power cord (sold separately) for continuous power supply.

6.3 Night Vision and HDR

Equipped with a 2 million pixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor and Night Vision technology, the CSD-600FHR records clear images even in low-light conditions, such as at night or in tunnels. HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology minimizes overexposure in bright areas and underexposure in dark areas, ensuring balanced video quality.

6.4 Radar Detector Mutual Communication

The CSD-600FHR supports mutual communication with compatible CELLSTAR radar detectors. This allows for integrated display and control functionalities between the two devices.

6.5 Dedicated Viewer Software

Recorded footage can be viewed on a computer using the dedicated viewer software. This software is compatible with Windows operating systems and allows for detailed analysis of video, speed, acceleration, and GPS data (if connected to a compatible radar detector with GPS).

6.6 Voice Assist Function

The device features a voice assist function that provides audible guidance on recording status and settings adjustments, enhancing user convenience.

6.7 LED Traffic Signal Compatible

The CSD-600FHR is designed to record LED traffic signals accurately, preventing flickering or incorrect color representation in recorded footage.

7. Maintenance

7.1 microSD Card Management

The CSD-600FHR features a "microSD maintenance-free" function. This technology reduces fragmentation of the microSD card and minimizes data recording errors, eliminating the need for periodic manual formatting. However, it is recommended to periodically back up important footage to another storage device.

To ensure optimal performance, use only high-endurance microSD cards specifically designed for dash cam use.

7.2 Cleaning the Device

Wipe the device body and lens with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device.
