Control Panel Functions:
- LED Display: Shows current settings (tone, rhythm, demo song number).
- RHY (Rhythm): Selects accompaniment rhythms.
- REC (Record): Initiates recording of played notes (up to 92 notes).
- PLAY: Plays back recorded sequences.
- DEMO: Plays one of the 45 built-in demo songs.
- TONE: Selects one of the 128 available instrument tones.
- RHYTHM: Selects one of the 128 accompaniment rhythms.
- TEMPO: Adjusts the speed of rhythms and demo songs.

Setup
1. Power Supply
The Funkey RP-61M can be powered by the included AC adapter or by 4 AAA batteries (not included).
Using the AC Adapter:
- Connect the small end of the power adapter to the DC 5V port on the control panel.
- Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard wall outlet.

Using Batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the control panel.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Caution: Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
2. Unrolling the Keyboard
Carefully unroll the silicone keyboard on a flat, stable surface. Ensure the keys are not creased or folded during unrolling.

3. Connecting Headphones (Optional)
For private practice, connect standard headphones to the PHONE (Headphone Out) jack on the control panel. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
4. Connecting External Audio (Optional)
To play along with external audio sources, connect a device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the LINE IN jack using an appropriate audio cable.
5. MIDI Connection (Optional)
The RP-61M features a MIDI port for connecting to computers or other MIDI-compatible devices. This allows the piano to function as a MIDI controller.
- Connect a MIDI cable from the MIDI OUT port on the RP-61M to the MIDI IN port of your external device or computer interface.
- The device is compatible with Windows Vista/7/8/10.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press the Power Button on the control panel to turn the piano on. The LED display will illuminate. Press it again to turn the piano off.
2. Adjusting Volume
Use the VOL (Volume) buttons (+ and -) to increase or decrease the master volume.
3. Selecting Tones (Instrument Sounds)
- Press the TONE button. The LED display will show the current tone number.
- Use the + and - buttons (often shared with tempo/volume controls) to cycle through the 128 available tones.
- Play the keys to hear the selected tone.
4. Selecting Rhythms (Accompaniment)
- Press the RHYTHM button. The LED display will show the current rhythm number.
- Use the + and - buttons to cycle through the 128 available rhythms.
- Press the START/STOP button (often labeled with a play/pause icon) to start or stop the rhythm.
5. Adjusting Tempo
- While a rhythm or demo song is playing, press the TEMPO button.
- Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the tempo.
6. Playing Demo Songs
- Press the DEMO button. The LED display will show the demo song number.
- Use the + and - buttons to select one of the 45 demo songs.
- Press DEMO again to start playback. Press it a third time to stop.
7. Recording and Playback
The RP-61M allows you to record up to 92 notes.
- Press the REC button. The LED display may indicate "REC".
- Play your desired sequence on the keyboard.
- Press the PLAY button to stop recording and play back your recorded sequence.
- To clear the recording, press REC again.
8. Sustain and Vibrato Effects
- Sustain: Press the SUSTAIN button to activate or deactivate the sustain effect, which prolongs the sound of notes.
- Vibrato: Press the VIBRATO button to activate or deactivate the vibrato effect, which adds a slight pitch modulation to notes.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the piano. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use, gently roll up the keyboard and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid sharp objects that could puncture the silicone.
- Battery Replacement: If using batteries, replace all 4 AAA batteries when the sound becomes distorted or the unit fails to power on. Ensure correct polarity.
