1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your TMEZON Wireless WIFI Video Door Phone Intercom System. This system allows you to see, hear, and speak to visitors at your door, and remotely unlock the door via an indoor monitor or a mobile application. It features a 7-inch monitor, a 1080P wired camera with night vision, and supports remote access via the Tuya app.

2. Safety Guidelines

  • Ensure all wiring is performed by a qualified electrician to prevent electrical shock or damage.
  • Do not expose the indoor monitor to moisture or extreme temperatures.
  • The outdoor doorbell is designed to be waterproof and dustproof, but avoid submerging it in water.

4. Product Components

4.1 Indoor Monitor

The indoor monitor features a 7-inch TFT display with touch-key operation. It serves as the central control unit for the intercom system, allowing communication with visitors, viewing camera feeds, and managing settings.

4.2 Outdoor Doorbell Camera

The outdoor doorbell is equipped with a 1080P camera, offering a 115° wide viewing angle and night vision capabilities. It is designed to be waterproof, dustproof, and anti-vandal, ensuring durability in various outdoor conditions.

5. Installation

The TMEZON intercom system uses a wired connection between the indoor monitor and the outdoor doorbell for stable power and video transmission. The indoor monitor supports a WIFI network for app connectivity.

5.1 Mounting the Indoor Monitor

  1. Choose a suitable indoor location, typically near the main entrance, at eye level.
  2. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs.
  3. Connect the necessary wires (power, doorbell connection, unlock control) to the monitor before mounting it onto the bracket.

5.2 Mounting the Outdoor Doorbell

  1. Select an outdoor location near your door, ensuring a clear view of visitors and protection from direct impact.
  2. Secure the outdoor doorbell mounting bracket to the wall.
  3. Connect the wired extension cable from the indoor monitor to the outdoor doorbell.
  4. Attach the doorbell unit to its mounting bracket.

5.3 Wiring Diagram (General)

The system requires a wired connection between the indoor monitor and the outdoor doorbell. This typically involves a 4-wire cable for video, audio, power, and ground. Additional wires may be needed for electric lock control. Refer to the specific wiring diagram included in your product packaging for precise connections.

5.4 Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the indoor monitor and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The outdoor doorbell receives power directly from the indoor monitor via the wired connection.

6. System Configuration

6.1 Initial Setup

Upon first power-up, the monitor may prompt you to set the language, date, and time. Follow the on-screen instructions using the touch keys.

6.2 Network Connection (Wi-Fi)

To enable remote access and app notifications, connect the indoor monitor to your home Wi-Fi network:

  1. Navigate to the 'Network' or 'Wi-Fi Settings' menu on the indoor monitor.
  2. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password and confirm the connection.

6.3 Tuya App Integration

The system integrates with the Tuya Smart app for remote functionality:

  1. Download the 'Tuya Smart' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Register or log in to your Tuya account.
  3. On the indoor monitor, find the 'App Pairing' or 'QR Code' option.
  4. In the Tuya app, select 'Add Device' and scan the QR code displayed on the monitor to pair the device.

7. Operation

7.1 Receiving Calls

When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the indoor monitor will ring and display the live video feed from the outdoor camera. Your paired smartphone (via Tuya app) will also receive a notification.

7.2 Two-Way Communication

To speak with the visitor, press the 'Answer' button on the indoor monitor or the 'Speak' button in the Tuya app. You can then engage in a two-way audio conversation.

7.3 Remote Door Unlock

If connected to an electric lock, you can unlock the door remotely by pressing the 'Unlock' button on the indoor monitor or within the Tuya app during a call or live view.

7.4 Video Recording and Snapshot

The system can automatically record video or take snapshots when the doorbell is pressed or motion is detected. These recordings are saved to a Micro SD card (sold separately) inserted into the indoor monitor. You can also manually record or take snapshots from the monitor or app.

7.5 Motion Detection Settings

The outdoor doorbell features smart motion detection. You can configure the sensitivity and enable/disable this feature through the indoor monitor's settings or the Tuya app. When motion is detected, the system can trigger recordings and send notifications to your phone.

7.6 Intercom Function (Multiple Monitors)

If you have multiple indoor monitors installed, you can use the intercom function to communicate between different monitors within your home.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor screen and doorbell camera lens. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Firmware Updates: Periodically check the TMEZON website or the Tuya app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Storage Management: Regularly review and manage recordings on your Micro SD card to prevent it from becoming full. Back up important recordings as needed.

9. Troubleshooting
