Setting Your Combination

Your Master Lock 4697EURDNKL padlock is preset to open at 0-0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personal combination:

1. Open the Lock: With the dials set to 0-0-0-0, pull up the shackle to open the lock.
2. Rotate the Shackle: Rotate the shackle 90 degrees counter-clockwise (or 1/4 turn) until it aligns with the notch on the lock body.
3. Press Down the Shackle: Press the shackle down firmly into the lock body. While holding it down, rotate the shackle another 90 degrees counter-clockwise. The shackle should now be pressed down and rotated 180 degrees from its original open position.
