Initial Setup:

  3. Attach Workpiece Clamp: Secure the workpiece clamp to the saw table as shown in Figure 3.1. This clamp is crucial for holding material securely during cuts.
  4. Install Dust Bag: Connect the dust extraction bag to the dust port. For optimal dust collection, consider connecting to an external dust extraction system.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the saw to a suitable 230V power outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your mitre saw.

  1. Material Preparation: Ensure the workpiece is free of nails, screws, or other foreign objects that could damage the blade.
  2. Adjusting Mitre Angle: Loosen the mitre lock handle and pivot the turntable to the desired angle. The saw features locking increments at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30°, and 45° Left & Right. Securely tighten the handle.
  3. Adjusting Bevel Angle: For bevel cuts, adjust the saw head tilt to the desired angle (up to 45°). Lock the bevel adjustment securely.
  4. Positioning Workpiece: Place the workpiece firmly against the fence and secure it with the workpiece clamp. Ensure the cutting line aligns with the laser guide.
  5. Activating Laser and LED: The integrated laser guide and LED work light can be activated to assist with precise alignment and illumination of the cutting area.
  6. Making a Cut:
    • Hold the saw handle firmly.
    • Press the trigger to start the motor and allow the blade to reach full speed.
    • Slowly lower the saw head through the workpiece, applying steady, even pressure.
    • For wider materials, utilize the double sliding feature by pulling the saw head forward, lowering the blade, and pushing it back through the material. The slides can be locked at different lengths for greater control.
    • Once the cut is complete, release the trigger and allow the blade to stop completely before raising the saw head.
