Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The flashlight features a single button for power control and mode cycling.
- To turn the flashlight ON, press the button located on the tail cap.
- To cycle through the 3 light modes (High, Low, Strobe), press the button repeatedly while the flashlight is on.
- To turn the flashlight OFF, press the button after cycling through all modes, or hold the button for a few seconds (depending on the model's specific firmware, a quick press after a pause usually turns it off).
2. Adjustable Focus (Zoom Function)
The NAVIGATOR 1193 features an adjustable beam focus, allowing you to switch between a concentrated spot beam and a wide floodlight.
- To adjust the focus, gently pull the head of the flashlight forward or push it backward.
- Pulling the head forward will narrow the beam for a focused spotlight, ideal for long-range observation.
- Pushing the head backward will widen the beam for a broad floodlight, suitable for illuminating larger areas.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
2. Battery Replacement
When the light output becomes dim or the flashlight stops working, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section.
- Always replace all three AAA batteries at the same time.
- Use high-quality AAA alkaline batteries for optimal performance and to prevent leakage.
- Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent potential battery leakage and damage.
3. Water Resistance
The NAVIGATOR 1193 is designed to be water resistant against splashing water and can be used in heavy rain. However, it is not intended for submersion. Ensure the tail cap is securely tightened to maintain water resistance.
