3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The noise-cancelling function requires one AAA battery. Locate the battery compartment on one of the earcups. Open the compartment, insert the AAA battery according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the compartment securely.
Note: The headphones can still function for audio playback without a battery or with the noise-cancelling feature turned off.
3.2 Connecting the Audio Cable
Insert the smaller end of the detachable audio cable into the headphone's 3.5mm jack, typically located on the bottom of one earcup. Connect the larger end of the cable to your audio device's 3.5mm audio output jack.
3.3 Wearing the Headphones
Adjust the headband to ensure the earcups sit comfortably over your ears. The soft ear pads are designed for long-wearing comfort. Ensure the left (L) and right (R) indicators on the earcups correspond to your left and right ears for optimal sound staging.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Activating Noise Cancellation
To activate the QuietPoint active noise-cancelling feature, locate the power switch on the earcup (usually near the battery compartment). Slide the switch to the "ON" position. An indicator light may illuminate to confirm activation. This feature helps reduce ambient noise.
4.2 Adjusting Volume
The detachable audio cable includes an in-line volume control. Slide the volume control up or down to adjust the audio output level. You may also need to adjust the volume on your connected audio device.
4.3 Using the Airline Adapter
For in-flight entertainment systems that use dual-prong audio jacks, connect the airline adapter to the system's audio output, then plug your headphone's 3.5mm cable into the adapter.
4.4 Deactivating Noise Cancellation
To conserve battery life, slide the noise-cancellation power switch to the "OFF" position when the feature is not required. The headphones will continue to function for audio playback passively.
