3. Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
  • Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
  • Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
  • Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  • Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
  • Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not pick up toxic material, such as chlorine bleach, ammonia, or drain cleaner.
  • Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
  • Turn off all controls before unplugging.
  • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
  • Do not use to pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.

4. Setup

4.1 Assembly

The CLEANmaxx vacuum can be assembled in two primary configurations: as a handheld vacuum or as a stick vacuum with the extension tube.

  1. Handheld Configuration: Attach desired nozzle (crevice tool or dusting brush) directly to the main handheld vacuum unit.
  2. Stick Vacuum Configuration:
    • Connect the extension tube to the main handheld vacuum unit.
    • Attach the Power Rotation Floor Nozzle to the other end of the extension tube. Ensure all connections click securely into place.

4.2 Charging the Battery

The vacuum operates on a powerful 14.8 Volt battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is switched off.
  2. Remove the battery from the main unit if it is inserted.
  3. Place the battery into the charging station.
  4. Connect the power adapter to the charging station and plug it into a suitable wall outlet.
  5. The battery indicator lights will show the charging status. Charge until the battery is full (all indicator lights are solid).
  6. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours. The battery indicator will show the remaining charge level during use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

To turn the vacuum cleaner on, press the power button located on the main unit. Press it again to turn the vacuum cleaner off.

5.2 Using as a Handheld Vacuum

For quick clean-ups, car interiors, upholstery, or hard-to-reach areas, use the main unit with the crevice tool or dusting brush attached directly.

5.3 Using as a Stick Vacuum

For floors, carpets, and larger areas, assemble the vacuum with the extension tube and Power Rotation Floor Nozzle.

  • The Power Rotation Floor Nozzle features rotating bristles that efficiently pick up dust, dirt, and pet hair from both hard floors and carpets.
  • The extension tube allows for comfortable upright cleaning and can reach high areas like ceilings for cobwebs.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.

6.1 Emptying the Dust Container

The dust container should be emptied regularly, especially when the 'MAX' line is reached, to maintain strong suction.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is switched off and disconnected from any power source.
  2. Press the release button to detach the dust container from the main unit.
  3. Hold the dust container over a waste bin and open the bottom flap to empty the contents.
  4. Close the flap securely and reattach the dust container to the main unit until it clicks into place.

6.2 Cleaning the Filters

The cyclonic filter system includes washable filters. Clean them periodically to prevent clogging and maintain suction power.

  1. Remove the dust container as described above.
  2. Twist or pull to remove the filter assembly from inside the dust container.
  3. Separate the individual filter components (if applicable).
  4. Tap off loose dirt over a waste bin. Rinse the filters under cold running water until the water runs clear.
  5. Allow all filter components to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling and placing them back into the vacuum. Do not use heat to dry.

6.3 Cleaning the Power Rotation Floor Nozzle

Periodically check the Power Rotation Floor Nozzle for tangled hair or debris around the brush roll. Use scissors to cut away any tangled hair and remove it.
