Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Coffee is too weak or too strong. | Incorrect coffee-to-water ratio; incorrect brew strength setting. | Adjust the amount of coffee grounds or select a different brew strength (Regular, Bold, Robust). |
| Coffee not brewing fully or slowly. | Mineral buildup; too coarse a grind; too little coffee grounds. | Descale the coffee maker. Ensure proper grind size and sufficient coffee grounds for the desired brew. |
| Dripping from brew basket when carafe is removed (Auto Pause & Pour). | Carafe removed for too long; coffee grounds interfering with drip-stop mechanism. | Replace carafe within 20 seconds. Clean the brew basket and ensure no grounds are obstructing the drip-stop. |
| Coffee has an unusual taste (e.g., plastic taste). | New appliance; residue from manufacturing. | Run several cycles with water only before first use. Ensure all parts are thoroughly cleaned. |
| Coffee maker does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outage. | Check power connection. Ensure outlet is functional. |
