Maintenance
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This means it is suitable for splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, bathing, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe the case and band with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery. When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to take your watch to an authorized Timex service center or a reputable jeweler. Attempting to replace the battery yourself may void the warranty and compromise the watch's water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running:
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in.
- The battery may need replacement. See the "Battery Replacement" section.
- Indiglo Not Working:
- Ensure the crown is pressed firmly.
- A weak battery can affect Indiglo performance. Consider battery replacement.
- Date Not Changing Correctly:
- Ensure the time is set correctly for AM/PM. The date changes around midnight. If it changes at noon, you have set the time for PM instead of AM.
