  • ON/OFF Button: Powers the device on or off.
  • UNITS Button: Cycles through the 11 available pressure units.
  • HOLD Button: Freezes the current reading on the display.
  • DIF Button: Activates or deactivates differential pressure mode.

3. Setup and Battery Installation

3.1 Battery Installation

The manometer requires one 9V battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

  1. Locate the battery door on the rear of the device (refer to Figure 3).
  2. Open the battery compartment.
  3. Connect the 9V battery to the battery clip, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Place the battery into the compartment and close the battery door securely.

Note: Ensure the battery wires are not pinched when closing the compartment.

3.2 Connecting Probes

Connect the pressure tubes to the low and high pressure input ports located at the top of the device (refer to Figure 3). For differential pressure measurements, connect the higher pressure source to the "High Pressure Connection" and the lower pressure source to the "Low Pressure Connection".

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on the device, press the red ON/OFF button.
  • To power off the device, press and hold the red ON/OFF button until the display turns off.

4.2 Unit Selection

Press the UNITS button to cycle through the 11 available pressure units: InH2O, Psi, Mbar, kPa, inHg, mmHg, ozin2, FtH2O, cmH2O, KGCM2, Bar. The selected unit will be displayed on the screen (refer to Figure 2).

4.3 Data Hold Function

Press the HOLD button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold and resume live readings.

4.4 Differential Pressure Measurement

To measure differential pressure, press the DIF button. The device will display the pressure difference between the high and low pressure input ports. Press DIF again to exit differential mode.

4.5 Backlight

Press the backlight button (located on the side, refer to Figure 3) to turn the display backlight on or off, improving visibility in low-light conditions.

4.6 Auto-Off Feature

The device is equipped with an auto-off feature to conserve battery life. If no buttons are pressed for a certain period, the meter will automatically power off. This feature can typically be disabled or adjusted, refer to the full manual for advanced settings if available.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the pressure ports or other openings.

5.2 Battery Replacement

Replace the 9V battery when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Follow the steps outlined in Section 3.1.

5.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage. Store the manometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Device does not power on: Check if the 9V battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace the battery if necessary.
  • Inaccurate readings: Ensure pressure tubes are securely connected and not kinked. Verify the selected unit is correct for your application. The device has a maximum pressure resistance of 10 psi; readings above 2 psi may not be displayed accurately.
  • Display is dim or blank: Activate the backlight. If the issue persists, replace the battery.
  • No reading in differential mode: Ensure both high and low pressure ports are correctly connected to their respective sources.
