Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Citizen Eco-Drive AT8113-12H Analog Bracelet Watch. This timepiece combines elegant design with advanced technology, featuring Citizen's proprietary Eco-Drive (solar-powered) movement and radio-controlled timekeeping for exceptional accuracy. This manual provides essential information to help you set up, operate, and maintain your watch, ensuring its longevity and optimal performance.

Setup
1. Initial Charging (Eco-Drive)
Your Citizen Eco-Drive watch is powered by light. Before initial use, or if the watch has stopped, expose the dial to bright light (natural sunlight is ideal) for several hours. A full charge can take up to 11 hours in direct sunlight or significantly longer under artificial light. Ensure the dial is not covered.
2. Setting the Time Zone and Receiving Radio Signal
The AT8113-12H is a radio-controlled watch, meaning it automatically receives time signals to maintain accurate time. To set your home city/time zone:
- Pull the crown out to position 2 (the furthest position). The second hand will point to the current time zone setting.
- Rotate the crown to select your desired city code (e.g., LON for London, PAR for Paris, NYC for New York). Refer to the city code ring on the dial.
- Push the crown back to position 0 (normal position). The watch will attempt to receive the time signal for the selected city.
- For manual signal reception, press and hold the lower pusher (B) for approximately 2 seconds until the second hand points to 'RX' (Receive). The watch will then attempt to receive the signal.

3. Adjusting the Leather Strap
The watch comes with a brown calf leather strap. To adjust the fit, simply use the tang buckle to select the appropriate hole that provides a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist. Ensure it is not too tight to allow for air circulation and prevent discomfort.

Operating the Watch
1. Basic Timekeeping
The main hands (hour, minute, second) display the current time for your selected home city. The small sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position indicates the 24-hour time.
2. Chronograph Function
The watch features a chronograph (stopwatch) function:
- Start/Stop: Press the upper pusher (A) to start and stop the chronograph.
- Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press the lower pusher (B) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.
The sub-dial at 12 o'clock measures chronograph minutes, and the sub-dial at 6 o'clock measures chronograph seconds.
3. Date Display
The date is displayed in an aperture at the 3 o'clock position. The date automatically adjusts for months with 30 or 31 days. For months with fewer days (e.g., February), manual adjustment may be required at the beginning of the next month.
4. World Time Function
To check the time in another city:
- Pull the crown out to position 1 (first click).
- Rotate the crown to align the second hand with the desired city code on the dial's outer ring. The hour and minute hands will then display the time for that city.
- Push the crown back to position 0 to return to normal timekeeping.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Watch
Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture. If it gets wet, allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive materials.
2. Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM / 330 feet). This makes it suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
3. Eco-Drive Charging
To ensure continuous operation, expose your watch to light regularly. Avoid prolonged storage in dark places. If the watch stops, it indicates a low charge and requires exposure to light. The power reserve can last for several months on a full charge, even in darkness.
4. Storage
When storing the watch for extended periods, place it in an area where it can receive some light to maintain its charge. Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods (which can fade the strap), and strong magnetic fields.
Troubleshooting
- Watch has stopped or is losing time: This usually indicates insufficient charge. Expose the watch to bright light for an extended period.
- Radio signal not received: Ensure you are in an area with good signal reception (away from electronic interference, near a window). Try a manual signal reception (refer to Setup section). The watch may not receive signals in certain geographical locations or during specific times of day due to atmospheric conditions.
- Hands are misaligned: If the hands do not align correctly after a signal reception or impact, perform a manual zero-position correction. Refer to the detailed instruction manual available on the Citizen official website for specific steps for your movement (H804).
- Date not changing correctly: Manually adjust the date by pulling the crown out to position 1 and rotating it. Remember to adjust for months with fewer than 31 days.
