Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Logitech K380 keyboard, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Keyboard Not Connecting or Pairing
- Ensure the keyboard is turned on and the pull-tab has been removed.
- Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone).
- Make sure the keyboard is within the 10-meter (33 ft) wireless range of your device.
- Re-enter pairing mode on the keyboard by long-pressing an Easy-Switch key (F1, F2, or F3) for 3 seconds until the LED blinks. Then, re-attempt pairing from your device's Bluetooth settings.
- Check the batteries. If the battery indicator light is off or red, replace the AAA batteries.
- Try connecting to a different device to determine if the issue is with the keyboard or the original device.
Keys Not Responding or Repeating Characters
- Ensure the keyboard is fully charged or has fresh batteries.
- Clean around and under the affected keys to remove any debris that might be causing sticking.
- If a key is repeating characters, a quick tap on the offending key can sometimes stop the repetition. This issue has been noted by some users and may be related to software or minor mechanical sticking.
- Ensure your device's operating system and Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
Switching Between Devices Not Working
- Confirm that each device is properly paired to a unique Easy-Switch channel (F1, F2, or F3).
- Press the Easy-Switch key firmly and briefly to switch channels. A long press is for pairing mode.
- Ensure the Bluetooth connection on the target device is active and not disconnected.
