  3. Select Sizing Adapter: Choose one of the two provided sizing adapters that offers a comfortable and snug fit against the body. This ensures optimal vacuum seal and comfort.

Operating Instructions

The Soma Therapy-ED pump is designed for easy and safe operation. Follow these steps for effective use:

  1. Position the Device: Place the assembled cylinder and pump head over the penis, ensuring a tight seal against the body.
  2. Activate Pumping: Use one finger to operate the manual pumping mechanism. This action will create a vacuum within the cylinder, drawing blood into the penis and causing an erection. The device has a built-in limiter for safe pressure levels.
  3. Achieve Full Engorgement: Continue pumping until the penis is fully engorged and a satisfactory erection is achieved.
  4. Apply Tension Ring: Once the desired erection is achieved, carefully slide one of the comfortable tension rings from the cylinder base to the base of the penis. This ring will help maintain the erection after the pump is removed. Select the tension ring size that provides adequate retention without discomfort.
  5. Remove Pump: Press the manual vacuum release button to release the pressure, then carefully remove the pump and cylinder from the penis, leaving the tension ring in place.

The tension ring should not be worn for more than 30 minutes. Remove the ring immediately if you experience any discomfort, pain, or numbness.

Three-step visual guide for using the Soma Therapy-ED pump: 1. Apply system over penis. 2. Activate pumping mechanism to draw blood. 3. Place tension ring at base of penis to maintain erection.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues while using your Soma Therapy-ED device, consider the following common solutions:

  • Difficulty Achieving Vacuum:
    • Ensure the cylinder is securely attached to the pump head.
    • Verify that the sizing adapter is creating a tight seal against the body. Apply more lubricant if necessary to improve the seal.
    • Check for any cracks or damage to the cylinder or pump head that might be causing a leak.
  • Erection Not Maintained:
    • Ensure the tension ring is properly positioned at the base of the penis.
    • Try a different size of tension ring to find one that provides adequate retention without discomfort.
    • Remember that tension rings should not be worn for extended periods (maximum 30 minutes).
  • Discomfort or Pain:
    • Reduce the vacuum pressure by pressing the release button slightly.
    • Ensure sufficient lubricant is used.
    • If discomfort persists, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
