- Do not immerse the mouse in water or any liquid.
- For the optical sensor, use a dry cotton swab to gently remove any dust or debris.
2. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator light (if present) signals low power, or if the mouse performance degrades, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup Guide. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Mouse not responding | Low or dead batteries; USB receiver not properly connected; signal interference. | Replace batteries. Ensure USB receiver is firmly plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port. Move mouse closer to the receiver. |
| Cursor erratic or jumpy | Dirty optical sensor; unsuitable surface; signal interference. | Clean the optical sensor. Use the mouse on a clean, non-reflective, opaque surface or a mouse pad. Reduce interference from other wireless devices. |
| Side buttons not working on Mac OS | Operating system limitation. | This is a known compatibility limitation with Mac OS. Basic mouse functions (left/right click, scroll) will still work. |
| Mouse enters sleep mode too quickly | Normal power-saving feature. | Move the mouse or click any button to wake it up. This feature helps extend battery life. |
For persistent issues, refer to TECKNET Co-Link technology which ensures re-establishment of pairing if a signal is lost or shut down. If problems persist, please contact customer support.
