1. Unpacking and Placement

3. Power Connection

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the STANDBY-ON button on the front panel to turn the unit on or off.

2. Selecting Source (DVD/VCR)

Press the VCR SOURCE DVD button on the front panel to switch between DVD and VCR modes. The indicator light will show the currently selected source.

3. DVD Playback

  1. Ensure the unit is in DVD mode.
  2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray.
  3. Place a DVD or CD onto the disc tray with the label side facing up.
  4. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the tray.
  5. Playback should begin automatically. If not, press the PLAY button.

4. VHS Playback

  1. Ensure the unit is in VCR mode.
  2. Insert a VHS tape into the VCR slot. The unit will automatically load the tape.
  3. Playback should begin automatically. If not, press the PLAY button.
  4. Use the REW (Rewind), F.FWD (Fast Forward), and STOP/EJECT buttons for tape control.

5. Recording VHS to DVD (One-Touch Recording)

This feature allows for easy transfer of VHS content to a recordable DVD.

  1. Insert a recordable DVD (DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W) into the DVD tray.
  2. Insert the VHS tape you wish to record into the VCR slot.
  3. Ensure the unit is in VCR mode.
  4. Press the RECORD button. The unit will begin playing the VHS tape and simultaneously recording it to the DVD.
  5. To stop recording, press the STOP button.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials. For internal cleaning, especially of the VCR heads or DVD lens, it is recommended to use specialized cleaning kits or consult a professional.

2. Media Handling
