Safety Information

Observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the safe:

  • Ensure the safe is placed on a level, stable surface capable of supporting its weight.

Setup and Installation

Your PHOENIX SAFE 505 Series safe comes with a bolt-down kit for enhanced security. It is highly recommended to secure the safe to the floor.

Unpacking and Placement:

  • Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage.
  • Choose a suitable location for your safe. Consider the dimensions: 37.75"H x 25.75"W x 22"D. Ensure there is enough clearance for the door to open fully.

Bolting Down the Safe:

The included bolt-down kit provides additional security against unauthorized removal. No additional hardware is required.

  1. Locate the pre-drilled holes at the bottom of the safe.
  2. Position the safe in its desired location.
  3. Mark the floor through the pre-drilled holes.
  4. Move the safe aside and drill pilot holes into the floor at the marked locations, using an appropriate drill bit for your flooring type.
  5. Insert the plastic anchors (if applicable for your flooring) into the drilled holes.
  6. Reposition the safe over the holes.
  7. Insert the bolts through the safe's bottom holes and into the floor. Tighten securely.

Operating Instructions

Digital Lock Operation:

The safe is equipped with a digital combination lock for secure and convenient access. The combination can be set with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 digits.

Setting Your Combination:

Refer to the specific instructions provided with your lock for initial setup and changing the combination. Generally, this involves entering a default code, pressing a programming button, and then entering your new desired code followed by confirmation.

Opening the Safe:

  1. Enter your personal digital combination on the keypad.
  2. If the code is correct, you will hear a confirmation signal (e.g., beep) and the lock will disengage.
  3. Turn the handle to open the safe door.

Closing and Locking the Safe:
