3. Setup
3.1 Attaching the Concentrator Nozzle
The blower comes with a removable concentrator nozzle. Align the nozzle with the blower's air outlet and push firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely attached before operation.

3.2 Battery Installation and Charging
The DEWALT DCBL722P1 operates on a 20V MAX* Lithium Ion battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
- To install the battery, align the battery pack with the receptacle on the blower handle and slide it in until it locks securely.
- To remove the battery, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.
- To charge the battery, insert it into the provided DEWALT charger (DCB115). Refer to the charger's manual for specific charging instructions and indicator lights.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting and Stopping the Blower
- To start the blower, ensure a charged battery is installed, then depress the variable speed trigger.
- To stop the blower, release the variable speed trigger.
4.2 Variable Speed Control and Speed Lock
The blower features a variable speed trigger and a speed lock for precise control over air output.
- Variable Speed Trigger: The amount of trigger depression controls the air speed. Press lightly for lower speeds, and fully for maximum speed.
- Speed Lock: For continuous operation at a desired speed, depress the trigger to the desired speed, then push the speed lock lever forward. To disengage the speed lock, depress the trigger fully and release.

4.3 General Operation Tips
- Always direct the air flow away from yourself and others.
- Use the concentrator nozzle for stubborn debris or to create a focused air stream.
