4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Inspect the machine for any damage. If damage is found, do not use and contact customer support.
  3. Before first use, clean the ice barrel, shaving blade, and stainless steel bowl with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the ice shaver on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and operation.
  • Keep the machine away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing for Shaving

  1. Ensure the power switch is in the 'OFF' position.
  2. Lift the hopper handle to open the ice barrel.
  3. Place the stainless steel collection bowl under the ice chute.
  4. Add ice cubes into the ice barrel. Do not overfill.

5.2 Shaving Ice

  1. Close the hopper handle firmly. The machine will not operate if the handle is not fully closed due to the built-in safety switch.
  2. Plug the machine into a standard 110V electrical outlet.
  3. Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start, and the shaving blade will begin to rotate.
  4. Gently press down on the hopper handle to apply pressure to the ice cubes against the shaving blade. Shaved ice will dispense into the collection bowl.
  5. Continue pressing until all ice is shaved or the desired amount is collected.
  6. Once finished, release the hopper handle and turn the power switch to 'OFF'.
  7. Unplug the machine from the outlet.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the machine before cleaning.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Remove the stainless steel collection bowl and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
