5. Setup
- Install Batteries:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Playback
- Ensure the unit is powered on and connected to your bass and headphones.
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to a comfortable listening level.
- Use the GAIN knob to control the amount of drive or distortion. Turn clockwise for more gain.
- Adjust the TONE knob to shape your sound, from brighter to warmer.
6.2 Using Rhythm Patterns
The amPlug 2 Bass model includes 9 built-in rhythm patterns to aid your practice.
- Press the RHYTHM button to activate the rhythm function. The indicator light will flash.
- Each subsequent press of the RHYTHM button will cycle through the available patterns.
- Use the VOLUME/TEMPO knob to adjust the tempo of the selected rhythm pattern.
- To turn off the rhythm function, press and hold the RHYTHM button until the indicator light turns off.
6.3 Using the AUX Input
Connect an external audio device to the AUX input to play along with music.
- Connect a 3.5mm stereo mini cable from your audio player's headphone output to the amPlug 2's AUX Input.
- Adjust the volume on your external audio player to balance it with your bass guitar's volume.
