Installing the Latch
The universal latch slides into place without tools. The package includes both a radius and a drive-in faceplate for flexibility. Select the appropriate faceplate for your door's existing preparation.

Installing the Knobs
The self-aligning screw holes simplify the process of attaching the interior and exterior knobs. Secure the knobs using the provided screws. Ensure all components are aligned correctly for proper function.

Operating Instructions

Locking the Door
To lock the door from the inside, press the push button located on the center of the interior knob.

Unlocking the Door
- From the Inside: Rotate the interior door handle. The push button will automatically unlock.
- From the Outside (Emergency): Insert the included pin key into the small hole on the center of the exterior knob and push firmly. This will disengage the lock.
Maintenance
To maintain the finish and functionality of your Schlage door knob, regularly wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish. Periodically check and tighten any loose screws to ensure secure operation.
Troubleshooting
