Setup

Follow these steps to set up your TEW-820AP:

1. Power Connection: Connect the provided Micro USB power adapter to the PWR port on the TEW-820AP and plug it into a power outlet.

2. Ethernet Connection: Use the included Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port on the TEW-820AP to an available Ethernet port on the back of your existing wired or wireless router.

3. Wireless Connection: The TEW-820AP comes pre-encrypted with its own unique Wi-Fi Key. Locate the Wi-Fi Name/SSID and Wi-Fi Key printed on the device or in the Quick Installation Guide. Connect your Wireless AC enabled devices (e.g., smartphones, laptops, smart TVs) to this new Wireless AC network using the provided Wi-Fi Key.
4. WPS Setup (Optional): For devices that support Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), you can press the WPS button on the TEW-820AP and then activate WPS on your client device to establish a secure connection without manually entering the password.

Operating

The TEW-820AP operates primarily as an access point, extending your network with Wireless AC. Once set up, it broadcasts a 5GHz Wireless AC signal.

• Wireless Adapter Mode: The TEW-820AP can also function as a wireless client or adapter.
