Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- For the THGN132N sensor, open its battery compartment and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing polarity.
- Close the sensor's battery compartment.
2. Sensor Placement
Place the THGN132N wireless sensor outdoors in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to ensure accurate temperature and humidity readings. The transmission range is up to 150 feet (45 meters) from the main unit.
3. Initial Synchronization
Upon battery installation, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. Ensure the sensor is within range. The outdoor temperature and humidity should appear on the main unit's display within a few minutes.
4. App Connection (Bluetooth)
- Download the "Weather@Home" app from your smartphone's app store.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Open the Weather@Home app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your BAR218HG unit.
- Once connected, the app will sync the time to the weather station and allow you to view detailed data and history.
Operating the Weather Station
Display Information
The main unit's display shows the following information:
- Outdoor Temperature and Humidity: Current readings from the wireless sensor.
- Indoor Temperature and Humidity: Current readings from the main unit's internal sensors.
