Setup
Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch case) out to the furthest position.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position to start the watch movement.

Operating Instructions
Using the Indiglo Night-Light
Your Timex Easy Reader watch features the Indiglo night-light for visibility in low-light conditions.
- To activate the Indiglo night-light, press and hold the crown. The entire dial will illuminate.
- Release the crown to turn off the night-light.

Maintenance
Water Resistance
This watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for splashes or brief immersion in water, but not for swimming or bathing. Do not press the crown while the watch is wet.
Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, damp cloth. For leather straps, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals to preserve their quality.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it still doesn't run, the battery may need replacement.
- Indiglo not working: Check if the crown is being pressed firmly. If not, the battery may be low.
- Condensation under crystal: This may indicate a loss of water resistance. Have the watch inspected by a professional immediately.
