Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Battery Care

  • Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working.
  • Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA).
  • If the remote control will not be used for an extended period (e.g., one month or more), remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage and damage.
  • Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.

Troubleshooting

Remote Control Not Responding

  • Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals aligned as indicated. Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Line of Sight: Verify there are no obstructions (e.g., furniture, other objects) between the remote control and the device's infrared receiver. The remote requires a clear line of sight.
  • Device Power: Confirm that the device you are trying to control is powered on and functioning correctly.
  • Remote Indicator: The remote control features a red LED indicator. If this indicator does not light up when a button is pressed, the batteries may be dead or incorrectly inserted.
