Package Contents
- Radio Replacement Interface (LCGM29 module and wiring harness)

Installation Instructions
Important: Professional installation is recommended. Disconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal before beginning installation.
- Remove the factory radio from the vehicle dashboard.
- Connect the PAC LCGM29 wiring harness to the aftermarket radio's wiring harness according to the wiring diagram provided with your aftermarket radio and the LCGM29.
- Connect the vehicle-specific connector from the LCGM29 harness to the vehicle's factory radio harness.
- Connect the LCGM29 module to its corresponding connector on the harness.
- Secure the LCGM29 module and excess wiring in a safe location behind the dashboard, away from moving parts or heat sources.
- Reinstall the aftermarket radio into the dashboard.
- Reconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal.
- Test all functions of the aftermarket radio and vehicle chimes.
Operating Instructions
The PAC LCGM29 operates automatically once installed. It ensures that safety warning chimes function correctly and provides retained accessory power (RAP) for a period after the ignition is turned off, mimicking the factory radio's behavior.
- Retained Accessory Power (RAP): After turning off the ignition, the aftermarket radio will remain powered for approximately 10 minutes or until a vehicle door is opened, whichever occurs first.
- Safety Chimes: All factory safety warning chimes (e.g., seatbelt, door ajar, low fuel) will be retained and function through the vehicle's audio system.
Maintenance
The PAC LCGM29 interface is designed for maintenance-free operation. Ensure all connections are secure during installation. No user-serviceable parts are inside the module.
- Keep the module free from moisture and extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to open or modify the module, as this will void the warranty.
