The PAC RP4.2-BM21 is an advanced interface designed for select CAN-Bus BMW vehicles, enabling the replacement of the factory radio while retaining essential vehicle features. This interface ensures seamless integration, allowing users to keep their factory steering wheel controls (SWC), iDrive controls, and critical warning chimes, including rear park assist and front collision detection.
It offers enhanced functionality by enabling dual programming for each SWC button through short and long press commands. Additionally, the RP4.2-BM21 provides crucial data bus driven outputs such as accessory power, vehicle speed signal (VSS), illumination, reverse, and parking brake signals.
