1. Introduction
The EUFAB 11526 Loading Ramp is an essential accessory designed to simplify the process of loading bicycles, particularly heavier models like electric bikes, onto compatible EUFAB bike carriers. This ramp eliminates the need for heavy lifting, allowing bikes to be easily rolled onto the carrier. Its foldable design ensures convenient storage and transport.
2. Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when using the loading ramp. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to property.
- Ensure the bike carrier is securely mounted to your vehicle and properly locked before attaching the ramp or loading any bicycle.
- Verify that the loading ramp is correctly attached to the bike carrier and stable on the ground before attempting to load a bicycle.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 66.14 lbs (30 kg) for the ramp.
- Always maintain a firm grip on the bicycle while loading or unloading. Consider having assistance for very heavy bikes.
- Keep hands and feet clear of moving parts during the loading process.
- Store the ramp in a safe place when not in use to prevent tripping hazards or damage.
3. Components
The EUFAB 11526 Loading Ramp consists of the following main components:
- Foldable aluminum ramp sections
- Hinge mechanism for folding
- Attachment point/hook for securing to the bike carrier
- Ground contact points/feet

4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your EUFAB 11526 Loading Ramp:
- Unfold the ramp: Gently pull the two sections of the ramp apart until they are fully extended and locked into place.
- Position the ramp: Place the end of the ramp with the attachment hook onto the designated ramp receiver on your EUFAB bike carrier (e.g., Premium II, Premium III, Premium Plus II). Ensure it is securely seated.
- Ground stability: Confirm that the other end of the ramp rests firmly and stably on a flat, level surface.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the ramp is securely set up, you can proceed to load your bicycle:
- Align the bicycle: Position the bicycle wheel at the bottom of the ramp, aligning it with the ramp's track.
- Roll the bicycle: While holding the bicycle firmly by the handlebars and seat, gently push it up the ramp. For electric bikes, you may use the walk-assist feature if available.
- Secure the bicycle: Once the bicycle is on the carrier, secure it according to your bike carrier's instructions, ensuring all straps and clamps are tightened.
- Remove the ramp: After the bicycle is secured, detach the loading ramp from the carrier and fold it for storage.

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your loading ramp:
- Cleaning: Wipe the ramp clean with a damp cloth after each use, especially if exposed to dirt or mud. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the ramp for any signs of damage, such as bends, cracks, or loose components. Ensure the hinge mechanism operates smoothly.
- Storage: Store the ramp in its folded position in a dry, protected area away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their solutions:
- Ramp feels unstable: Ensure the ramp is fully unfolded and locked. Check that the attachment hook is securely seated on the bike carrier and the ground end is on a flat, stable surface.
- Difficulty folding/unfolding: Check for any obstructions in the hinge mechanism. Clean the hinge area and apply a small amount of silicone spray if necessary.
- Bicycle slips on ramp: Ensure the ramp surface is clean and dry. If the bicycle tires are wet or muddy, clean them before attempting to load.
