Setup and Installation

Tools Required (Not Included): Screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, voltage tester, safety glasses.

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture's location and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting Surface: Ensure the electrical box is securely mounted and ready for the fixture.
3. Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the fixture's mounting plate to the electrical box using the provided screws. Ensure it is level.
4. Make Electrical Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the house wires according to standard electrical codes (usually black to black, white to white, and ground to ground). Use wire nuts to secure connections.
5. Mount Fixture: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws or nuts.
6. Install Bulb: Insert one 60-Watt max, T-10 bulb with an E26 Medium base into the socket.
7. Secure Glass Shade: Attach the frosted glass shade to the fixture using the matte nickel finishing screws. Ensure it is snug but do not overtighten.
8. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the main circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

The EGLO Troy wall sconce is designed for simple operation once installed.

• Power On/Off: Operate the light fixture using your standard wall switch.
• Dimming Functionality: This fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. Adjust the dimmer switch to achieve your desired light intensity. The control method is typically touch-based on the dimmer switch itself.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper care will help maintain the appearance and functionality of your EGLO Troy wall sconce.

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish or glass.
• Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing the bulb. Carefully remove the glass shade by unscrewing the matte nickel finishing screws. Replace the old bulb with a new 60-Watt max, T-10 bulb with an E26 Medium base. Reattach the glass shade securely.
