4. Setup
- Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
- Wash the carafe, carafe lid, single-serve grounds basket, and mesh scoop in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Place the coffee maker on a dry, level surface.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Before first use, brew two full carafes of water without coffee grounds to clean the internal components.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Brewing a Full Carafe (12 Cups)
- Open the carafe reservoir lid and fill with desired amount of water (up to 12 cups) using the carafe.
- Place a paper filter (cone-shaped) into the carafe filter basket, or use the reusable filter if preferred.
- Add desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. For best results, use 1 tablespoon of coffee per cup.
- Close the carafe reservoir lid securely.

- Turn the selector dial to "CARAFE".
