Wiring

  1. Connect each zone valve wire to its corresponding terminal (1-9).
  2. Connect the common wire from your valves to the "COM" terminal.
  3. If using a pump start relay or master valve, connect its wire to the "PUMP" terminal.
  4. If installing a rain sensor, connect its wires to the "SENSOR" terminals. Refer to your rain sensor's manual for specific wiring instructions.
  5. Close the wiring compartment door.

Operation

Setting the Current Time and Date

  1. Turn the dial to "SET CLOCK".

Programming Watering Schedules

The Easy 9 allows for 3 independent programs (A, B, C) with up to 4 start times each.

  5. Repeat steps for additional start times within Program A, or for Programs B and C.

Manual Watering

To water manually outside of programmed schedules:

  1. Turn the dial to "MANUAL".
  2. Select the zone you wish to water using the "NEXT" button.
  3. Set the desired watering duration for that zone.
  4. The timer will begin watering the selected zone.
  5. To stop manual watering, turn the dial to "OFF" or "AUTO".

Rain Delay

The rain delay feature allows you to temporarily suspend watering for a set period.

  1. With the dial in "AUTO" position, press the "DELAY" button.
  2. Select 24, 48, or 72 hours using the "+" button.
  3. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay period.
