2. Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Mounting the Carrier to the Tow Bar
- Ensure the tow bar is clean and free of grease or dirt.
- Place the folded carrier onto the tow ball.
- Press down the locking lever firmly until it clicks into place, securing the carrier to the tow bar.
- Lock the carrier to the tow bar using the provided key for anti-theft protection.
- Connect the 13-pin electrical plug from the carrier to your vehicle's tow bar socket. Ensure all lights are functioning correctly (brake lights, turn signals, tail lights).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Loading Bicycles
- Unfold the carrier arms and wheel trays.
- Place the first bicycle onto the inner tray, ensuring the wheels sit correctly in the grooves.
- Attach the frame clamp to the bicycle's frame and the carrier's support arm. Tighten the clamp securely, then lock it with the key for anti-theft.
- Secure both wheels using the provided ratchet straps. Ensure the straps are tight and the wheels are firmly held in place.
- Repeat for the second bicycle, placing it on the outer tray. Alternate the direction of the handlebars to prevent interference between bikes.

5.2 Tilting Function for Trunk Access
The EUFAB 11523 Premium II Plus features a convenient tilting mechanism, allowing access to your vehicle's trunk even with bicycles loaded.
- Ensure the vehicle is stationary and safe to access the rear.
- Locate the foot pedal or lever for the tilting mechanism (often at the base of the carrier).
- Press the pedal or pull the lever to release the lock, then gently tilt the carrier downwards.
- Once tilted, the trunk can be opened.
- To return the carrier to its upright position, lift it until it clicks back into place. Ensure it is fully locked before driving.

6. Maintenance
