Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Beetel B11 Corded Landline Phone. 1. Setup

1.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

  • Beetel B11 Phone Unit
  • Handset
  • Coiled Handset Cord
  • Line Cord

1.2 Connecting the Phone

  1. Connect one end of the coiled handset cord to the handset and the other end to the port labeled HANDSET on the phone unit.
  2. Connect one end of the line cord to the port labeled LINE on the phone unit.
  3. Connect the other end of the line cord to your telephone wall jack.

1.3 Wall/Desk Mountable

The Beetel B11 phone is designed for both desk and wall mounting. For wall mounting, use the integrated wall mount holes on the base of the unit and secure it to a wall using appropriate screws (not included). Ensure the handset cradle is adjusted for wall-mounted use to prevent the handset from falling.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Lift the handset, wait for a dial tone, then dial the desired phone number using the keypad.
  • To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, lift the handset to answer.
  • To End a Call: Place the handset back on the phone unit.

2.2 Ringer Volume Control

The phone features a ringer volume control switch, typically located on the side or bottom of the unit. Adjust this switch to your preferred ring volume (High/Low/Off).

2.3 LED for Ring Indication

The Beetel B11 is equipped with an LED indicator that flashes when there is an incoming call, providing a visual alert in addition to the audible ring.

2.4 Mute/Pause/Flash/Redial Functions

The phone includes dedicated buttons for common call management functions:

  • MUTE: Press to temporarily silence your microphone during a call. The other party will not hear you. Press again to unmute.
  • PAUSE: Used when dialing numbers that require a pause, such as accessing an extension or a calling card service.
  • FLASH: Used to access network features like call waiting or conference calling. Consult your telephone service provider for specific usage.
  • REDIAL: Press to automatically redial the last number called.

2.5 Tone/Pulse Switchable

The Beetel B11 phone supports both Tone (DTMF) and Pulse dialing modes. A switch, usually located on the bottom or side of the phone, allows you to select the appropriate dialing mode for your telephone line. Most modern telephone systems use Tone dialing.
