Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
- Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Always make sure the juicer cover is securely latched in place before the motor is turned on. Do not unlatch while juicer is operating.
- Always make sure the juicer is turned to the OFF position after each use.
- Do not put fingers or other objects into the juicer opening while it is in operation. If food becomes lodged in the opening, use the food pusher to push it down. If this method is not possible, turn the motor OFF and disassemble the juicer to remove the remaining food.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- Do not use the appliance without the pulp bin in place.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

- Food Pusher: Used to guide fruits and vegetables into the feed chute.
- Safety Latches: Securely lock the cover to the motor base for safe operation.
Setup
- Before first use, wash all removable parts (pulp bin, filter basket, cover, food pusher) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
- Insert the pulp bin into its designated slot on the motor base. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Place the stainless steel filter basket onto the motor base, ensuring it is firmly seated over the drive shaft.
- Position the cover over the filter basket and motor base. Align the cover with the safety latches on the motor base.
- Engage the safety latches by pushing them upwards until they click into place, securing the cover. The juicer will not operate if the latches are not properly secured.
- Place a juice collection container (not included) under the juice spout.
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position before plugging the appliance into a standard electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to extract fresh juice from fruits and vegetables.
- Prepare your fruits and vegetables by washing them thoroughly. Cut larger items into pieces that fit comfortably into the feed chute. Remove pits from fruits like peaches or cherries, and hard seeds from melons. Peeling is generally not necessary for most fruits and vegetables, but you may peel citrus fruits to avoid a bitter taste.
- Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and the safety latches are engaged. Place a glass or pitcher under the juice spout.
- Plug the juicer into an electrical outlet.
- Turn the juicer ON using the switch on the motor base. Allow the motor to reach full speed before inserting produce.
- Gradually feed the prepared fruits and vegetables into the feed chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide the produce down. Do not force the food pusher, as this can strain the motor and reduce juice yield.
- Continue feeding produce until all desired items have been juiced. The pulp will collect in the pulp bin, and fresh juice will flow from the spout.
- Once finished, turn the juicer OFF and unplug it from the outlet.
- For recipe ideas, refer to the 25 food and drink recipes included with your juicer.
Note: For optimal performance, process softer fruits and vegetables alternately with harder ones. Do not continuously operate the juicer for more than 2 minutes at a time. Allow it to cool down for 10 minutes before resuming if extended use is required.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your juicer. All removable parts are dishwasher safe.
- Always turn the juicer OFF and unplug it from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
- Disengage the safety latches and remove the cover.
- Carefully remove the filter basket and the pulp bin.
- Discard the pulp from the pulp bin.
- Rinse the cover, filter basket, pulp bin, and food pusher under running water immediately after use to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
- For thorough cleaning, wash these parts in warm, soapy water using a brush to clean the mesh of the filter basket. Alternatively, these parts are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended).
- Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling or storing.
Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Juicer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; safety latches not engaged; power outage. | Ensure plug is securely in outlet; check that safety latches are fully locked; check household circuit breaker. |
| Motor stops during operation. | Overload; filter basket clogged; safety latches disengaged. | Turn OFF, unplug, and clear any blockages. Allow motor to cool. Reassemble and ensure latches are secure. Reduce amount of produce fed at once. |
| Low juice yield or excessive pulp in juice. | Filter basket clogged; produce fed too quickly; incorrect produce type. | Clean filter basket thoroughly. Feed produce slowly and steadily. Ensure produce is fresh and suitable for juicing. |
| Vibration or loud noise. | Filter basket not properly seated; uneven surface; damaged part. | Turn OFF, unplug, and re-seat the filter basket. Ensure juicer is on a flat, stable surface. If problem persists, contact customer support. |
