The front panel features a large color LCD for displaying waveforms and measurement data. Below the screen are five function buttons (F1-F5) whose labels change dynamically on the screen. The main control area includes dedicated buttons for voltage (V), current (A), resistance (Ω), diode test, continuity, save/recall, utility, cursor, measure, and menu navigation. The MS6100 is powered by one Lithium Ion battery (included and pre-installed). Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Connect the universal AC adaptor/charger to the instrument's charging port and to a suitable AC power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

4.3 Powering On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the Power button (orange circle with power symbol) located at the bottom left of the control panel. To power off, press and hold the same button until the display shuts down.

4.4 Initial Setup

Upon first power-on, the device may prompt for language selection or other initial settings. Use the navigation buttons and F-buttons to configure as needed. The built-in multi-language help system can be accessed via the pop-up menu.

5.1 Oscilloscope Mode

To enter Oscilloscope mode, press the OSC DMM button. The display will show the waveform grid and channel information.

To switch to Multimeter mode, press the OSC DMM button again. The display will show multimeter readings.
