Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the hair dryer and any accessories from its packaging.
- Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Extend Cord: Gently pull the power cord from the base of the handle until it is fully extended.
- Plug In: Insert the power plug into a standard 125V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.
Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Locate the slide switch on the handle. Slide it to the 'LOW' or 'HIGH' position to turn the dryer on. Slide it to 'OFF' to turn the dryer off.
- Select Heat/Speed: The slide switch also controls the heat and speed settings. Choose between 'LOW' (lower heat, lower speed) or 'HIGH' (higher heat, higher speed) according to your preference and hair type.
- Use Cool Shot: For setting your hairstyle, press and hold the blue 'COOL' button located above the slide switch. This will provide a burst of cool air. Release the button to return to the selected heat setting.
- Retract Cord: After use, ensure the hair dryer is unplugged from the outlet. Press and hold the 'Hold Button To Retract Cord' button on the top of the dryer. The cord will automatically retract into the handle. Guide the cord gently to prevent tangling.
- Fold Handle: For compact storage, gently fold the handle towards the body of the dryer until it locks into place.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your hair dryer.
- Cleaning the Air Filter: The rear filter of the hair dryer should be cleaned periodically to prevent lint and dust buildup, which can affect performance and lead to overheating. To clean, twist or pull off the filter cover, remove any accumulated lint or hair, and then securely replace the filter cover.
- General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the hair dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Storage: When not in use, store the hair dryer in a cool, dry place. Ensure the cord is fully retracted and the handle is folded for compact storage. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this can damage the cord.
