3. Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
2. Carefully open the battery compartment.
3. Insert one CR2025 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Placement

The thermo-hygrometer can be placed on a flat surface using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall. Choose a location that provides accurate readings, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts, which could affect temperature and humidity measurements.

4. Operating Instructions

Display Information

The large display shows the current temperature (in °C or °F) and relative humidity (RH%). A comfort zone indicator, typically a smiling face, will appear when both temperature and humidity are within optimal ranges for human comfort.

Viewing Max/Min Values

Press the 'MAX/MIN' button (located on the back of the device) once to display the maximum recorded temperature and humidity since the last reset. Press it again to view the minimum recorded values. The device automatically resets these values every 24 hours. To manually reset, press and hold the 'MAX/MIN' button for a few seconds while the max/min values are displayed.

Temperature Unit Selection

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press the '°C/°F' button located on the back of the device.
