Please read all instructions carefully before using your Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 Electric Indoor Grill + Griddle. Failure to follow these safety guidelines may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended household use.
- The cooking plates and heating elements become very hot during operation. Allow to cool completely before handling or cleaning.
2. Product Overview
The Hamilton Beach 3-in-1 Electric Indoor Grill + Griddle offers versatile cooking options for a variety of meals. It features two reversible, nonstick cooking plates that can be used as a full grill, a full griddle, or a combination of both. Each cooking zone has independent temperature controls, allowing for precise cooking of different foods simultaneously.

3. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels from the appliance.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the reversible cooking plates and the drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The plates and drip tray are dishwasher safe (top-rack recommended).
- Insert Drip Tray: Slide the drip tray into the slot located at the front center of the appliance base. Ensure it is fully inserted.
- Position Cooking Plates: Place the desired side of the reversible cooking plates (grill or griddle) onto the heating elements. Ensure the plates are securely seated by aligning the tabs on the plates with the corresponding slots on the base. The plates can be easily flipped or removed by pulling up on the metal tabs located at the center seam.
- Placement: Place the assembled grill/griddle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
- Power Connection: The appliance does not have an on/off switch. To power on, plug the power cord into a standard 110-volt electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.

4. Operating Instructions
- Preheating: After plugging in the unit, turn the temperature control knobs for each cooking zone to the desired temperature. The "READY" indicator light will illuminate when the selected temperature is reached. This appliance features two independent cooking zones, each with its own control knob.
- Temperature Control: The temperature can be adjusted up to 425°F. For general cooking, temperatures around 300°F are suitable for eggs, while higher temperatures (400-425°F) are ideal for bacon or searing.
- Cooking: Place food directly onto the preheated cooking surface. Avoid overcrowding the plates to ensure even cooking.
- Dual Zone Cooking: Utilize the independent temperature controls to cook different types of food simultaneously. For example, grill meats on one side while preparing vegetables or pancakes on the griddle side.
- Monitoring: Monitor food closely to prevent overcooking. Cooking times will vary based on food type, thickness, and desired doneness.
- Completion: Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature control knobs to the "MIN" or "OFF" position and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your grill/griddle. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
- Unplug and Cool: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool to the touch before beginning any cleaning.
- Remove Plates and Drip Tray: Carefully remove both cooking plates by pulling up on the metal tabs. Remove the drip tray from the base.
- Wash Plates and Drip Tray: The double-sided cooking plates and the drip tray are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- Clean Base: Wipe the exterior of the appliance base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid. Ensure no water enters the heating element area.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting
