5. Usage

5.1. Mattress Placement

Place a standard twin size mattress (39 x 75 inches) on the top bunk. Place a standard full size mattress (54 x 75 inches) on the bottom bunk. For the trundle, use a mattress up to 8 inches thick. No bunkie board or bunkie mattress is required due to the included slat system.

5.2. Trundle Operation

The trundle unit slides out from under the bottom bunk to provide an additional sleeping surface. To use, gently pull the trundle unit forward until it is fully extended. To store, push it back under the bunk bed until it is flush with the frame.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the wood surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
  • Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and other fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain structural integrity and safety.
  • Wood Care: The Brazilian pine is protected with a smooth coating. Avoid exposing the bed to extreme temperature changes or humidity, which can cause wood to warp or crack.
